This Legal Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") governs your access to and use of the Gryps documentation site (docs.gryps.trade) and the Gryps trading application (gryps.trade) (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Gryps, Inc. ("Gryps", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Disclaimer and any additional policies referenced herein.

The information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Nothing on the Services is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any digital asset or to engage in any trading strategy. You are solely responsible for evaluating your own circumstances and risk tolerance. Consider seeking advice from qualified professionals before making decisions.

Nature of Services; Non-Custodial Trading​

Gryps provides an interface for intent-based, on-chain perpetuals trading. Trading is non-custodial: you remain responsible for your wallet, private keys, and collateral. Settlement is performed on-chain by third-party protocols (including Symmio smart contracts) and execution may involve independent solver networks (such as Orbs). Gryps does not take custody of user funds, does not act as broker, dealer, exchange, or clearing agency, and does not guarantee execution quality, pricing, or availability of liquidity.

Eligibility and Restricted Use​

You may access and use the Services only if you can form a binding contract and are not otherwise barred under applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, access to the Services is not permitted where it would be illegal or require registration, licensing, authorization, or other approvals that Gryps has not obtained. You are responsible for ensuring that your use is compliant with the laws and regulations applicable to you.

Restricted jurisdictions

If you are a person located in, resident of, or organized in any of the following jurisdictions, or using VPNs or other means to circumvent restrictions, you should not access or use the Services:

  • United States (including its territories)
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • European Union member states where retail access to crypto derivatives is restricted
  • Singapore
  • Hong Kong
  • Mainland China
  • Japan
  • Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, Crimea/Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, or any other jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions

Market and Technology Risks​

Trading digital asset derivatives is highly risky and may result in the total loss of capital. Markets are volatile and subject to slippage, gaps, liquidations, price manipulation, oracle or index failures, funding rate variability, and other adverse events. Smart contracts and blockchain networks may contain bugs, suffer outages, experience network congestion, undergo reorganizations, or be exploited. Third-party protocols, infrastructure providers, and solvers may fail or behave unexpectedly. You should not use the Services unless you can afford to lose all amounts transacted.

No Warranties​

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Gryps does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gryps and its affiliates, directors, employees, partners, service providers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. To the extent any liability is not excluded, the aggregate liability of Gryps and its affiliates for all claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the greater of (i) USD 100 or (ii) the amounts (if any) paid by you directly to Gryps for the Services during the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

User Responsibilities​

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining control and security of your wallet(s), private keys, seed phrases, and devices
  • Understanding the operation of smart contracts, funding, margin, liquidation, and RFQ processes
  • Complying with applicable laws, including AML/CFT and sanctions
  • Paying all applicable taxes and fees arising from your use of the Services

The Services may reference or interoperate with third-party protocols, networks, wallets, data providers, and applications. Gryps does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, services, or availability. Use of third-party components is at your own risk and may be subject to additional terms.

Changes and Updates​

Gryps may update, modify, or discontinue the Services or this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Updates are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
